In contrast, the plexiglass produced by the calendering method is still transparent after laser engraving, and there is no sufficient contrast effect. When buying plexiglass, you should emphasize to the dealer that you want a good kind of high purity, otherwise the material you bought back may melt during engraving or cutting. Under normal circumstances, the plexiglass adopts the method of back carving, which means that it is carved from the front and viewed from the back, which makes the finished product more three-dimensional. When engraving the back, please mirror the graphics first, and the engraving speed should be fast and the power should be low. If the power is too high during engraving, uneven stripes will appear on the bottom surface. If you want to engrave deeper, try engraving several times. In the case of back carving, for p artial coloring, the coloring should be carved deeper first, and then polished with a flame polishing machine, before the color can be filled. If it is not po lished, the color seen from the front will not be uniform.

Le plexiglas se découpe relativement facilement. Si les exigences du client ne sont pas élevées, il peut être livré découpé sans polissage à la flamme. Dans le cas contraire, il est conseillé d'utiliser un souffleur lors de la découpe afin d'en améliorer la qualité. Pour la découpe de plexiglas de plus de 8 mm d'épaisseur, il est recommandé de remplacer les lentilles de grande taille.

On peut utiliser des pigments acryliques, mais d'autres pigments risquent d'endommager la finition du plexiglas.
